History

Established on July 6, 2010 and registered on July 14, 2010, OLOGA – Sistemas Informáticos Lda began its activity on August 1, 2010. The word Ologa is derived from the term speak in Chuabo, a language spoken in the Centro de Mozambique. The name came about through the idea of ​​establishing a link between the term communication and a national dialect.

Ologa’s majority partner is the company Gapi, Sociedade de Investimentos SI, a Public Private Partnership whose main focus is rural development through the growth of entrepreneurship and the expansion of the financial system to remote regions. Gapi SI’s strategy is to implement rural micro banks and Ologa was born with the aim of designing technological solutions to facilitate the management of this network of micro banks. Ologa’s legal representative is Mr. Mulweli Lyalosho Rebelo as General Director.

The series of experiences acquired by individuals in the field of development and applications in technology systems, telecommunications, financial systems in rural areas culminated in the founding of Ologa.
